Corina’s review of the internship as graphic designer at Seria

During my internship at Seria, I have been working on graphic design projects for clients and doing photography.

As a graphic design student, I was looking for a company where I could learn more about my passion but also to explore a country I have never been to! I already knew the company for some time because some people I know have also done their internship at Seria. So, it was really easy for me to choose Seria. Other students from my school have been here and were talking about a good time. I knew if I would do my internship here, I was in very good hands, and that’s really true!

The internship

During my internship, I have worked on Con Brio, this is the choir where Nils sings in. Nils was my client in this project and the project was to make a brand identity with sketches for the website. In this project, Liss guided me to challenge me and to get better. I also got a lot of feedback from the design team.

I also made a lot for the internship website. Bjorn helped me with WordPress. Some things in this program can be a bit difficult. So, I learned more about making a website in WordPress Elementor. And it was really fun to make too!

Seria also offers photography. I have done 2 events where I could practice with taking pictures, product photography of bread, mockup photography and portrait photography. To explore the city, they also gave me the chance to take photos in the city and of the street art in Bodø.

The company

As a graphic designer, you will join the design team and they are with 4 designers in total. It is really nice to work in a design team because you’re able to ask feedback from them. My favorite work day in the office is when we have really fun conversations with some good music playing in the background.

The adventurers

As a foreigner from the Netherlands I am amazed with the nature and culture from Norway. There are so many adventures available to be explored here! I have done many different adventures such as, hiking, skiing, volleyball, photographing concerts, Norwegian food, northern lights, Saltstraumen, the cabin life, first time on a snow scooter, Landegode, Støtt, staying at a Rorbu in Løpshavn, Bratten via Ferrata, Mjelle and Kjerringøy.
